The following observations can be made from the above dashboard

  • Districts Bagalkote and Belagavi is found to be the worst in terms of malnutrition indicators, while districts Udupi and Mandya are the best performing districts
  • In the taluk Rabakavi Banhatti belonging to the district Bagalkote, only 37% of the children in the age group 6-23 months receives adequate diet. Also 21.3% of children belonging to the age group 6-59 months are anaemic
  • In the taluk Guledagudda belonging to the district Bagalkote, only 66.3% of children under age 3 years were breastfed within one hour of birth.
